My Education BC is temporarily unavailable because PLNet is down. The District IT staff and Fujitsu are aware of the problem and are working on it.
UPDATE: 2:45pm - the issue continues and is actively being worked on.
The message from the Provincial Service Desk:
- Shared Services BC and the Technical Stewardship group are continuing to investigate PLNet-related connectivity to the MyEducation BC Production and Pando applications. We do not have an ETR at this time. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
- Some Districts are unable to connect with the MyEducation BC Production and Pando applications. The applications are online and available but legacy PLNet users are unable to connect.
- Shared Services BC is currently working with the provincial Technical Stewardship group to resolve the issue. A P2 ticket, IM355275, has been opened to track progress.
- Additionally, please note the Student Locator functionality in BCeSIS is impacted as it tries to retrieve data from MyEdBC.
